Meals in Clock POS refer to the ones that can be consumed at your property and the respective time intervals for which table bookings can be made  - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, etc.

How to create

To create a Meal, go to 'Management' - 'Meals'. On this screen, you will be able to see all Meals created by you with their details. Additionally, the link for your POS Web Booking Engine (WBE) can be found below (if you have the Clock POS Web Booking Engine add-on enabled in your subscription).

Click the “New” button. This will open a new screen.

Name (1): It is the name of your meal - breakfast, lunch dinner, etc.

Start time (2): The starting time (in hours and minutes), at which a meal starts and table bookings can be made. For example, the Breakfast can start at 08:00.

End time(3): The end time (in hours and minutes) for this meal. For instance, breakfast can be set to end at 10:00.

Scale (minutes)(4): The time interval between Table Bookings. This setting depends on the Default Duration.

Default duration (minutes)(5): It is the default amount of time set for guests to spend at the table.

Example: Guests have a breakfast from 08:00 to 10:00, with a Scale of 15 minutes and a Default Duration of 30 Minutes.

When you open the Clock POS WBE and try to Book a table for Breakfast, these are the available time slots:

Since the Default Duration is 30 minutes, the available Time between 08:00 and 10:00 is as shown in the image above. So the Table to be booked can be occupied from 08:00 to 08:30 or from 08:15 to 08:45 or from 08:30 to 09:00 and so on.
