In the example conditions, we have several options for "Reception" prices, modified with a percentage discount or surcharge, depending on their purpose. For their configuration, we use Derived Percent Rates.

WBE prices

We start with the prices in the online booking system. They are the same as the reception prices, but 5% lower.

We will add these rates to a separate WBE rate plan, which will help us easily find and manage them together.

  • We create 2 rates for each room type:
    • with breakfast included (BB);
    • with breakfast and dinner (HB);
  • Rate type → Derived Percent Rate.
  • In the "Derived from" field, we select the corresponding rate from the Reception rate plan.

  • We fill in the warranty policy, packages, and restrictions.
  • In the "Season" view, we enter -5 (5% discount) for each rate. For convenience, we can use the "Copy season" option.

 This completes the rates for the online booking system.

OTA rates

For OTA rates, we will use the same approach, but instead of a discount, we will apply a 10% surcharge.

  • We create a new rate plan "OTA" - separate from the others so that they do not get mixed up.
  • For each room type, there are 2 rates (BB and HB).
  • Rate type → Derived percent rate. For the base, we select the corresponding rates from Reception. In 'Seasons,' we enter 10 (10% surcharge).

OTA rates are now ready.

Corporate Client Prices

The latest pricing conditions are intended for corporate clients, here we have 15% lower prices than those at Reception.

  • We are creating a new "Corporate" rate.
  • Again, for each room type, we are creating two rates (BB and HB).
  • Rate type → Derived percent rate . We select the rates from Reception as a basis. In "Seasons," we enter -15 (15% discount).

Corporate rates are now available.
